SMA prides itself in being one of the most afforadble and highest quality musical experiences in the valley for children and youth singers and players.

An annual registration fee of $30 is due at the time of registration.

Annual tuition for 2011-2012*

Scottsdale Training Chorus, Mesa Training Chorus, String Ensemble, Wind Ensemble
$400/year*. 
Payment plans available (8 months or quarterly.)  A 10% discount is given when tuition is paid in full.  A limited number of scholarships are available.**

Scottsdale Children's Choir, Mesa Children's Choir, Scottsdale Youth Orchestra, Cantabile Singers
$450/year*
Payment plans available (8 months or quarterly.)  A 10% discount is given when tuition is paid in full.  A limited number of scholarships are available.**

Many of our singers and players want to participate in two ensembles (e.g. Scottsdale Children's Choir and Scottsdale Youth Orchestral programs)
Two ensemble tuition
$600/year*

*Each singer/player has the opportunity to raise up to $100 for tuition and fees.

Uniform fees
$100/year (includes formal performance wear and polo shirt for informal performances)

Activity fee
$10 annual fee.  Goes to the Parent Association for the ability to pay for awards, social functions, and family events.

Sibling Discount

There is a 10% discount given to all siblings who participate in the organization (for example, first child pays tuition in full, second child pays a discounted tuition rate of 10% less.)

**Scholarships

It is our hope that no child be prevented from participating in the Scottsdale Children's Choir because of financial concerns. Scholarships available for students who present a financial need. Scholarship application packets are available at the time of audition and can be requested in advance by contacting Laura Strickland, President of the Board of Directors of the Scottsdale Musical Arts at 480.720.3398.

Fundraising

Additional fundraising opportunities are available for all singers and players.  Singers and players have the option to save fundraising monies from year to year to pay for touring costs.  Fundraising accounts remain with the organization and cannot be "cashed out" by singers or players who decide to discontinue participation in Scottsdale Musical Arts.
